The Walk 4 Hope is designed for all ages and abilities, with pram and wheelchair-friendly course that you can complete at your own pace. Join us as we walk together as a community to show people impacted by Huntington's disease that they are not alone.

All of our Walks are approximately 4km long, but the most important thing is taking part. We encourage everyone to walk as much as their abilities allow and enjoy the day with family, friends, and the HD community.

 

  • The Walk 4 Hope began in NSW in 2014 and in 2024 became a national event with 7 walks taking place around the country.


    Isolation is experienced by many people affected by Huntington’s disease (HD) and with that in mind the walk was purposely designed to be inclusive for everyone to take part in their very own Walk 4 Hope. It is an opportunity for families and friends to come together, to share their stories and to know they are not alone in their battle with HD.

  • Arrival, merchandise & raffle from 9.30am

    Raffle Draw - 11.30am

  • Your registration fee covers the operational cost of putting on the Walk 4 Hope. However all fundraising dollars will be used to run support groups, non-clinical counselling sessions, education and training programs, and other services that Huntington's Australia provide.

  • Make sure that you wear comfortable walking shoes and bring a bottle of water. You should also bring sunscreen, sunglasses, hat and appropriate outdoor weather clothing (in case of rain).
